IYPCA Youth Peace Talk 2017 Young Change Makers

The IYPCA Youth Peace Talk 2017 is bringing together young minds from around the world to share groundbreaking ideas and stories from their journeys. Join us on October 5th at the Sogndal Kulturhus for an exhibition of poetry, posters, music, and photos from the refugee journey before An evening of six speakers and a musical performance to explore the new ways in which we can work together to save the planet we all live on, be that through the environment, or by helping the people in front of us.

Young Change Makers Exhibition Poems, Pictures and Posters

Before our speakers share their stories and journies with you, we would like to invite you to our exhibition at 18:00 at the Sogndal Kulturhus. There will be a display of the “Climate Smart Cities” student from around the world have created the previous week at the International Youth Peace Conference. There will also be a poem read out, and posters on display made by our “Young Change Makers” and their climate change and peace solutions. You will also be able to take the journey of a refugee from Syria to Europe as you walk down our path of pictures.

Young Change Making Speakers

Our “Young Change Makers” aim to solve the fundamental causes of global injustice, that root down to climate change and peace. By giving the young minds of our world the options for action against injustice, we want to engage youth in the struggle for the world we have. They span six different countries and each has a unique story to tell. You can read more about them by clicking their faces below.
