Considerably a world citizen, she traces her roots to Guben, an Eastern German town bordering Poland where she was born. Her passion is to better understand why and how human behaviour is changing our planet and what could be done to avoid unsustainable pathways. She has a background in Physics and Economics whereby she applies Mathematics, Computer Models, and words in the interdisciplinary fields of energy, technology, climate change and sustainable development. Valeria believes in the wisdom and creative power among the young and old people which will in return make the world a better place. She loves playing a stringed Japanese musical instrument called, Okinawa Sanshin.
